-
Broad Interests: While model railways are included, the skills are applicable to other hobbies like Warhammer or battle re-enactments.
Current Status and Plans:
-
The group currently has six model railway layouts in various stages; three are exhibition-ready and have travelled extensively. 009 and N Gauge
-
The largest, recently acquired layout needs its scenery and landscaping rejuvenated to be exhibition-ready.
-
A NEW 00 gauge layout is planned and could be the first group project being “something different” and will allow several people to work on at once.
-
The group encourages new ideas and involvement from participants, including adults who bring/pick up the youngsters.
